Merton joins GSG with over 35 years of experience in public accounting. He was previously the Managing Partner of Bernard B. Cohen & Company LLC. Merton has extensive experience in the areas of general accounting and taxation. He focuses on privately-held, closely-held and family-held businesses, commercial and residential property management, construction and land development, and estate, trust, and gift planning.
Merton is a valuable asset to his clients, who benefit from his wealth of experience, understanding of their needs, and the personal nature of his service. He is dedicated and committed to his clients, often taking the time to advise them on financial and tax strategies and explain complex financial situations.
Merton graduated from the University of Baltimore in 1965. He is licensed with the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy.

of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). |
