Scott D. Rodgville Joins the Board of Directors of The American Health Assistance Foundation

Scott D. Rodgville, CPA and Officer at Gorfine, Schiller and Gardyn, P.A. has joined the Board of Directors of the American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF).

The American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF) is a non-profit organization that funds research seeking cures for Alzheimer’s disease, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma. The AHAF also educates the public about risk factors, preventative lifestyles, treatments and coping strategies. The AHAF is governed by the Board of Directors, who are responsible for formulating plans, defining goals and objectives, and evaluating the success of the AHAF in achieving its mission.

Mr. Rodgville heads up the firm’s Labor/ Employee Benefit Plans service area and focuses on union and not-for-profit clients. In 2006, he was named one of the “Top 40 Accountants” in Maryland by SmartCEO Magazine. Mr. Rodgville received his CPA certification in 1998 and his M.S. in Taxation from the University of Baltimore in 2001. Additionally, he is a member of the finance committee of Paul’s Place, Inc.
