The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) has a deep legacy of advancing the field of performing valuations, financial forensics, and other related advisory services.

A core part of this mission is developing and reviewing related curriculum to help ensure proper industry standards and practices for litigation and forensics. The responsibility of this important effort falls into the trusted hands of the NACVA Litigation Forensics Board (LFB).

The LFB comprises the brightest minds and the most seasoned in litigation and forensics. That is why Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn (GSG) is excited to announce that Ronald D. Rudich, Senior Director, Business Valuation & Litigation Support, has been appointed to the NACVA LFB.

With more than 50 years of experience, Rudich provides guidance, due diligence and services to GSG clients and their businesses. His primary area of expertise is in the valuation of closely held businesses, litigation support services, and machinery and equipment appraisals.

“NACVA is a great organization that has evolved from having a single certification to being a large and significant standards organization that guides the business valuation services and financial litigation services arena,” Rudich said. “The business world is transforming at a rapid pace, and I look forward to helping the LFB provide the curriculum and tools to help the industry be on the forefront.”

Part of Rudich’s vision for his role on the NACVA LFB is to help the industry adjust to significant changes that have come about due to advances in technology and business globalization. As a result, there are more international deals occurring, reinforcing the need for standards that bode well for businesses in Europe and the United States.

Rudich has also been voted into the NACVA Current Update In Valuations (CUV) committee, which aims to deliver the training and tools for professionals to produce a strong, defensible work product that will lead to increased confidence in their opinions.
