Melissa West, CPA
Melissa West has over 20 years of public accounting experience including tax planning and the preparation of tax returns for partnerships, individuals, and tax-exempt organizations. She has a strong specialization in charitable remainder trusts and not-for-profit organizations. Melissa is QuickBooks certified and consults small to medium-sized businesses on managing their basic accounting and reporting needs.
She is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1997. In 2007, Melissa received her CPA certification.
Melissa currently serves as Treasurer of the PTA for Warren Elementary, handling the school’s financial statements. She previously served on the Board of Beth El Congregation. Melissa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountant (MACPA).
